I solved the Samsung SD-608 DVD to recognizes DVDs in Windows XP! In properties for the Samsung SD-608 DVD I locked it to my DVD region (region 2) and in a second the DVDīs appeared in Windows Explorer. I donīt think you need a special driver to make it work in Windows XP. Try my solution and I think it will work for you to. If you want to make SD-608 DVD region free, see forums for that.
