SAMSUNG NC10 won't start up

Samsung / NC10
August 16, 2009 at 01:22:05
Specs: Windows XP Home SP3
I was typing in Word on my Samsung and
touched a few keys by accident and all of a
sudden it started preparing itself for
hybernation and went to sleep. After that,
nothing happens whichever button I press. It
just won't wake up nor restart. The battery is
not empty.

... managed to solve same problem years ago using a boot-up win98 cd/floppy by typing

FDISK /MBR [press ENTER]

... then rebooting..... you may lose the option to boot to a restore partition if one exists as the command removes (option) it from the Master Boot Record

... although you may still have that option depending on the bios.(if exist!)

... option may also exist in the programs listing

Thanks for answering. I solved the problem. It turned out that the
power cable was disconnected (it s smaller than usual plugs for
laptops and PC's and so I had confused it for a radio cable). The
battery was empty, that why the netbook went to sleep. But it
never warned me of low battery level before shutting down.
Thanks anyway for your help.
