Can anyone help, I am having trouble locating the "safely remove hardware" icon. I have alread right clicked the notification area and selected it to "hide when inactive" and tried "always show" but when I put a wireless pcmcia nic it will not show. The NIC does work because the OS sees it and I can connect. I barely restored it yesterday for my boss and I know everything worked. I am thinking maybe he removed it from the notification area. Is there a location for this program, or another way of trying this?

Thanks in advance

Try this...

Right-click the Notification Area - Properties

Under the Notification Area heading - Customize.

Find the Safely Remove Hardware Icon and De-select 'Always Hide' in the Behavior column
