m using a USB to Ethernet adapter cable, and I get an icon on my tooldbar I cant seem to get rid of. Running the mouse over it, it says, "Safely remove Hardware". The proper driver has been installed for it, but I cant seem to get this icon removed. Id like to think there is an alternative than just hiding it like Ive been doing.

Why not leave it, just in case you should ever want to 'safely remove...'

I can't think it uses much in the way of 'resources'
