i enabled safe mode in msconfig while dealing with virus.then i forget to disable it,and start repair installation.after rebooting after windows deleted the corrupt file and copy new file ,iam getting a message "windows xp setup can't run in safe mode.setup will be restarted." now my questin is how to disable this safe mode from msconfig as windows is on installation.

i have mercury m/b.i have mine old sata hdd(80gb) because my os get hang ,with 40gb pata hdd.my problem is that this hdd contain linux & xp.i can
run linx but when i start xp it get rebooted.wat sh

Boot your windows xp cd and go to the recovery console. Run bootcfg/rebuild and add any entries it finds. Reboot and it should prompt you for the windows setup to continue.

Start > type MSCONFIG > 4th Tab is BOOT.INI.

Unselect /SAFEBOOT.

Shutdown and then restart computer.
