Safe Mode With networking not working

Specs: Windows XP, 2.393 GHz / 254 MB
I have windows XP home, SP3. i am using a wireless connection on this computer. when i had a modem, it worked fine. now i have a wireless ( my son moved in) so he has the modem and router and i have the wireless adapter. please help me get it work in Safe Mode with networking!
P.S sorry for the many details, just wanted to be exact as possible.

The only way to make it work is by attach or use a standard-wired network adapter. Wireless networking will not work because the service for 802.1x wireless LAN standard authentication (Zero Configuration) is unavailable in Safe Mode. This is by design.
