Recently, Apple released their Safari browser for Windows. For those who have considered installing it, you might read this article first, 10 Reasons Not to Use Safari on Windows.
What amused me was what a memory hog Safari is, compared to Firefox, Opera, and yes, even IE7.
As one who works in Apple Tech Support, I'm not suprised. I often help callers untangle issues with Safari installed with Apple's OS X!

No surprises there: a browser that miserably failed to charm most Mac loyalists is not what one would expect to sweep PC users off their feet.
Someone needs to remind Jobs that; you may fool all the people some of the time, you can even fool some of the people all of the time, but you cannot fool all of the people all the time....as the saying goes.

Sabertooth, your point is more accurate than you might suspect. When helping a Mac user troubleshoot his box, there are a standard set of questions an agent asks. One of them is what kind of browser the customer uses.
An increasing number of Mac users reply: Firefox. Over the past year, the number has increased from perhaps 1 in 10 responses to 4 in 10.
The most common reason given is speed. Firefox is able to render pages more quickly (and some say, more accurately) than Safari - the broswer initially designed for Apple's operating systems. :)
