OK, here's the deal...I have a Compaq Presario 700 Laptop, and first it was freezing sometimes like 10 or more times a day, so we deleted everything and re-format the computer, new Windows XP from an original disc, new everything...so, on the install, when I was gonna shut it down, it froze again! (unbelievable!) After that, it worked fine until yesterday, freezing again but now with the blue death screen, giving a error message on: s3gnb, video card or something like that, I'm not a computer tech nor something similar, and when it starts again, sometimes I have audio, sometimes doesn't. Any HELP with this, somebody out there?? PLEASE...ANY HELP REALLY APPRECIATED!!!!!

s3gnb - S3 video adapter driver.
Your video driver might be corrupted thereby causing your computer to crash randomly.

go to that link and download the S3 Twister-K Graphics Driver for Windows XP. Go to control panel - Add/Remove and remove the old s3's driver, restart the computer, and install the new one you downloaded.

Hey, thanks for the help, but on my Control Panel, there's nothing with s3gnb or similar, or am I looking for the wrong thing? Is it under other stuff?
Now, everytime I turn on the laptop, it goes to the BIOS..why is that?
