I cannot seem to find the XP driver for this. I have tried all of my old faithful, but nothing. I tried S3's site www.s3.com and that was a load of crap. Is there another site used for S3 drivers, or does anyone have any ideas of where I can get my hands on it, it is not in the OS itself. Any help would be greatly appreciated.

Dunno for sure as S3 is no longer...best I can say is to go to a good search engine (yahoo, lycos, alta vista etc) and type in savage 2000 xp driver and see what happens.

I am having the same problem. According to the S3 site all of the s3 drivers are on the XP cd. I searched the cd and found many s3 drivers (and tried most of them) But I am still stuck running windows with the generic vga drivers...Hopefully something will suface.

Anyway Good Luck

Yo guys,

did you look at JGC's web site ?
Just follow the link and you can
install his tweaked driver for windowsXP.
I have it installed right now and it works
just fine. Thanks to him I can now enjoy playing Return to Castle Wolfenstein.
The only gripe is the fact that playing under OpenGl you have to use 16bit instead of 32-bit textures and colour depth. Otherwise you have to turn OpenGL extensions off in Wolfenstein. The game then tends to get a lot slower, but it is still very playable. Enjoy!
