Please help since you all seem to know more and I do! A "runtime error 424: object required" shows up out of NO WHERE, with NO programs running, and even sometimes when there are programs running. (Although not a scripting program or anything important, usually when I just initially log in and play Warcraft 3) Is there any way to stop this? I recently updated a program, and had to delete something as well, could I have deleted something vital??
THANKS!!

What did you delete? Can you remember? If you didn't delete a PROGRAM from the add-remove programs, yes, you might have deleted something crucial. Post what you deleted and I can probably help.

I updated a program which created useless folders, so I deleted them. But I made sure that they were not in any important folders such as the System folder. They were in Program Files, that's all. That is where everything else is. Could I have deleted some dll that is needed to run in the background? There is nothing else wrong with the computer as far as I know, except for this annoying pop-up error.
Thank you for looking into this! :)

Your PC may have a virus. Make sure to scan your PC for viruses, with the latest anti-virus definitions.

I'm also getting the same error message, when I log into my account on XP. The only thing running is my desktop. I downloaded Grokster on to my PC on Friday 26th Sept and everything started to play up, so I uninstalled it. Now I'm getting this 'Run-time 424 object required message. Plus Outlook is not able to send or receive? I've run Norton 2003 virus checker, and it doesn't seem to be a virus.
If anyone has got a solution, I'd be grateful.
