running slow help

I turned on my computer last night and all my computer info was wiped out! So I installed a fresh copy but I have errors in the management console and internet explorer runs real slow and norton gave me an error about command.com

Do you know if the previous problem was caused by a virus or not? Do an online scan at:

What kind of error does it say specifically? You may try replacing command.com with the one you have in the bootdisk. Make sure you copy the one in your pc though, just as a backup in case anything goes wrong.
