I have a users computer that I have joined to my network, that is unable to run a program on a application server. The user and computer were able to run the program before the computer was added to the domain but once the computer was joined to the domain no one that logs onto that computer can run this program. The users can log into any other computer on the network and run the programs just fine.
So I think that there is something in the local policies that is prohibating it from allow it to run.

roundaboutrc, sounds to me like you're on the right track. I suspect a firewall setting so that oughta pretty much narrow the field of possibilities. HTH. Ed in Texas.
