I'm trying to run some games for my kid, but most of them are set to run at very low resolutions, like 640x480. Of course the screen is very small. I've tried going to the executable properties, compatability tab and setting it there to run in 640x480, thinking it would change the monitor resolution to that automatically, but it didn't work.
Is there any way to get old games like this to display full screen without manually changing the desktop resolution first?
Checkout a program called 'Reschange'. It's free and might do want you want.You can set up a shortcut to run it to change the resolution and then the game. I think it automatically restores the original resolution when the game closes. Do yourself a favor BACKUP!!!
