Running batch file from Windows Explorer

Specs: Windows XP

I have a batch file (co.bat). I have added it as a context menu to Windows Explorer. However, I want to run it in an ALREADY open instance of the command prompt, rather than open a new command prompt.

Unfortunately, cmd.exe (in Windows Explorer) always opens a new command prompt.

Is there a way I can run a batch file from Windows explorer in a command shell that is already open, and NOT a new one?
