runner error

CPU/Ram: intel 256

when i boot up i get a runner error-invalid backweb application id 7288971.
Can someone help me get rid of this.

Download HiJackThis, install & run to get a log file. Don't fix anything.
You then post the log file at the site provided below & it will tell you what to fix.

This may apply.

HP/Compaq uses Back Web to send you periodic messages. The security features in the XP Service Pack apparently stop that function.
HP/Compaq has a "fix" at their website.
