Comment:

Last nite my computer froze and I had to hit, crtl, alt, delete to shut it down. I am using AOL with XP. I got a message from aol "your connection was set by the remote host", but when I rebooted I am getting

"Rundll32.exe-bad image file-The application or DLL C:\windows\system32\2ndrsch.dll is not a valid Windows image. Please check this against your installation diskette."

What does this mean and how do I get rid of it?

I believe you mean 2ndsrch.dll instead of 2ndrsch.dll. You have a parasite on your system. Check out the links/threads at the search link below.

Removal Instructions are also at this link.

Thank you so much! Sorry, yes I did type it wrong, just had carpel tunnel surgery.

I downloaded Ad Aware and boy does it show alot. Is it safe for me to delete everything it shows in the log?

You should be safe letting Ad-aware remove evrything as it by default makes a backup and quarantines it. If later you run into a problem you can restore items from the Quarantine. Did you upadate Ad-aware pror to running it? If you didn't update it and run it again before you remove the items.
