RUNDLL32.EXE in the Task List

CPU/Ram: Intel(R) Celeron (TM) CPU
Comment:

RUNDLL32.EXE appear in the Task List in Windows. I know that they tend to appear if there are poblems of some sort with PC...
What problems????

The Windows Program RUNDLL32.EXE
is used to run DLLs as programs and is used by many programs to execute functions located in a DLL file

I'd recommend updating your virus definitions and running a full virus scan. You may also want to download, install, read the directions, then update and run the 2 Free programs at the links below. It's possible that your computer may have picked up some parasites.

rundll32.exe is also used in virus' and trojans.
go to www.ravantivirus.com and do a full system scan. adaware 6 is also a good idea.

Vesna, The first entry "Alexa" is associated with "Show related links" under your Internet Explorer "Tools". If you remove it you'll loose only that function if you indeed use it. It won't hurt anything to remove it and if you ever have to Repair Internet Explorer that entry under "Tools" will reappear. I personally just put it on the ignore list in Ad-aware.

The second entry on your log I would Remove and let Ad-aware put it in quarantine. If you experience any problems you can let Ad-aware restore it.

Yes, I have JOKE GESCHENK.A , somewhere in My Documents, I cant find it right now, I snall find it later, and remove it, I know that kind of virus is not destructive.

That's an old joke virus and the file name is "cokegift.exe".
