rundll32.exe - Bad Image

March 20, 2009 at 05:35:45
Specs: Windows XP
HI

when i right click on "My Computer" and left click on "properties", I get a "rundll32.exe - Bad Image" message.

It says: "The application or DLL C:\Windows\system32\msls31.dll is not a valid windows image. please check this against your installation diskette."

I have no idea what is it and how to make it disappear.

Any idea??

Thanks

David~

Test that to see if the same thing happens while you are in Windows Safe-Mode.

Also
Most Virus and Spyware scans are likely to work better in Windows Safe-Mode. Run them.

I encountered this message everytime I boot up my comp :

"Generic host process for win32 services has encountered a problem and needs to close. We are sorry for the inconvenience."
