rundll32.exe - Bad image

March 8, 2009 at 21:14:25
Specs: Windows XP
When I start up my laptop an error window will pop up "rundll32.exe - Bad image" with the message "The application or DLL C:\Documents and Settings\WONGSY\Application Data\Macromedia\Common\439200261.dll is not a valid Windows image. Please check this against installation diskette." After I press "OK" another window will pop up "rundll32.exe" with the message "Error loading C:\Documents and Settings\WONGSY\Application Data\Macromedia\Common\439200261.dll
%1 is not a valid Win32 application." I tried to run "SFC /SCANNOW" as suggested in other threads but it was not working maybe it's because I don't have the adminstrator's rights. I log onto this laptop as a user.

Sometimes, error messages regarding DLL files, can be an indication that there is Malware on that person's computer.

Most Virus and Spyware scans are likely to work better in Windows Safe-Mode.
