The named file is probably corrupted.
You need to determine what that file is for, and/or where it is on your hard drive and/or what wants to load it.
If you can determine where it came from and where it is on your hard drive, you can replace it and the message will probably go away. It may be a file on a CD for software you installed recently.

When I search using: ivgqbvmm.dll I get absolutely no "hits", so either you mis-spelled that, or there are absolutely no posts on the web that mention it, which is unlikely.

i tried searching for it as well and got nothing. i havent installed anything on my computer in a while. i did have a virus on my computer around the time it started popping up. i cleared the virus off and i still get it, so maybe the virus corrupted the file. if so, how can i fix this if i cant find it on the web?

Search for it on your computer.
Where it is on the hard drive may give you clues about what program installed it or what it is for.

Use regedit (Start - Run - type: regedit , click OK. Make sure the first entry, usually My Computer, is highlighted at the top of the list at left before you search)
to search for mentions of it in the registry.
That may give you clues about what program installed it or what it is for.

Use msconfig (Start - Run - type: msconfig , click OK) and look in the Startup programs to see if there is a line with the name of the file in it. If you see that, you can try disabling the file from loading by clicking on the box at the beginning of the line to remove the checkmark.
If you make any change there, after that whenever you boot there will be two System Configuration windows that will pop up as the desktop loads. To keep them from appearing, click on the small box in the first window to insert a checkmark (or dot?), and those windows will not appear while booting after that.

Disabling the line that loads the file may or may not get rid of the message - some things cannot be prevented from loading by doing that procedure, or you may get a different error message when that file is not loaded.

"i havent installed anything on my computer in a while."

If you have Automatic Updates turned on and it is using default settings, Microsoft Updates are frequently installed. When you are on the web you may be asked to install an updated program or plug in. You may tend to forget about those.
Some malware will load without you even being aware of it simply by you visting certain web sites. Sometimes you will not be able to do anything in the browser for a short time while that is happening - that's a clue that may be where you picked up the malware.

It's good to hear that stopped the message, but you're ignoring the problem rather than fixing it.
See the other stuff in response 4 - if you can determine where you got it you can probably replace the corrupted file.
