I have a couple of problems

#1 I recently noticed that when I turn on my computer it runs slow, I checked the applications running and "rundll32" is running. Also in the processes tab wscript.exe is using between 10 and 25% of my CPU. So since then I just end them both everytime I put on the computer. This is getting tiresome and I wonder if everyone knows how to fix this problem.

#2 Everytime I open up Excel a file "itemplate" opens up as a blank workbook. Also imbedded in it is an object "saterra.jpg". I have no idea why it started doing this. Thank you for your help.

Hi jtbleek, Chuck 2, hello everyone,

Wscript.exe is way to start any VBS script.

Many viruses are written in the Visual Basic Scripting (VBS) language.

I suggest running an online virus scan.

Best Regards,
Mesich
