I tried it once on a test box, it installed with a warning that Micro$oft will not give you any support if you do install it.

Everything was OK except the keyboard shift keys did not work. No uppercase text and symbols.

Yes, get the 2004 version.

Other choices are vmplayer and you get a vmx file and eazyvmx.

The other free one that is supposed to be rather good I keep forgetting and someone keeps telling me. Search for virtual machine and it show up near the bottom of the list. Virtuabox I think.

I use QEMU a lot too.

I read it wrong and answer it wrong too. So get off my case you goober.
