Run software without CD-Rom

Hello I bought a program that needs to have the CD to run but I rather run it from my hard drive. Any ideas how to do this?

Pretty sure Microsoft site has a virtualcd application just for that. http://download.microsoft.com/downl... I read it wrong and answer it wrong too. So get off my case you goober.

copy the CDROM as an image to your hard drive (e.g. nero image recorder) then use daemon tools to mount the image as a virtual CD. http://www.daemon-tools.cc/ works in most cases, however, if the CDROM is copy protected, you may need something more sophisticated than nero's image recorder :-) Today's subliminal thought is: 'Calm down ... it's only ones and zeros.'
