Run Icon Missing On Start Menu

One day I when I clicked on start to go to run the run icon is not there it's just gone and I don't want to do system restore. I just want to know how can i get it back i can get to run by using the windows key and r but that's a pain anyway of fixing this. please e-mail me

Right click taskbar/properties/startmenu customize/advanced/scroll down the list and put a check in Run Command

Right click Taskbar,
Properties,
Start Menu tab,
Customize,
Advanced tab,
then find and check RUN COMMAND in Start Menu items.

Thank's a lot I been trying to figure out but I forgot about the taskbar properties.
