LD: some info on rundll and rundll32 at:

http://support.microsoft.com/?kbid=164787

a few things to try;

1. full system scan with updated antvirus program and use the online scan at:

http://housecall.trendmicro.com/

2. run a spyware program such as Spybot Search & Destroy.

3. do a Windows Update.

4. download RegCleaner from:

http://www.techtv.com/screensavers/supergeek/story/0,24330,3338390,00.html

and clean out unnecessary apps and files, especially any New.net or NewDot.Net files.

5. if problem persists, move into the emergency procedures, starting with System Restore and, if needed, followed by Recovery Console.
