I want to make a batch file that will automatically run when I startup my computer, before Windows XP even starts loading. How do I do it? Please Email answers to me with subject heading "batch" cause I probably won't check back at this site again.

Well it's too bad you're not going to check this site again cause here's the answer:
call the batch script from autoexec.bat

Well if you don't check back, you will never know the answer. You want a personal answer totally disregarding the fact that other people may like to know the answer as well. The arrogance of some people amazes me. Questions in public forums get public answers.
Anyway, the answer to the question is you cannot. Batch files need DOS or a DOS emulator. Windows XP has no DOS, only a DOS emulator and Windows has to be loaded to run the DOS emulator.

technically yes that's true, however a script called from autoexec.bat will run before any system services or any user software... I kinda thought that was what he was getting at...
