Thanx in advance for any helpful tips. I have a windows xp machine that keeps giving a "run as" dialog box whenever programs run (including durring windows startup). I have disabled the "secondary logon" service in windows but still get the popup. I also noticed that when i right click on icons I do not get "open" as an option. I only get Run as, cut, copy, properties, etc... Any ideas why i can't just Open stuff normally? This problem started after adding a new user to the machine, but even after removing that user i still have this problem.

thanx for suggestion but that didn't help. I'm hoping there's somwhere I can change this in settings or registry.
