Run 2 screens at same time

Yes it is, you can either have a dual display graphics card, or you could use a spillter (like 4 way extension lead but for a monitor)

i haven't used this myself, so i don't know whether its any good or not though.

Or you could use two different video cards.

Method #1 from above and this method work well. Don't bother with splitters.

I run dual monitors and I wouldnt go back to a single unless I had too. It gives you so much more desktop. Makes copying and pasting easy and having several windows open at the same time available. Heres the video card I have in my computer and it works well and windows xp included a dual display driver with their service pack for it.

I run dual 19s from an MSI GeForce4 MX460 card. Good memory at 64DDR. Never a problem with it. Infact, any dual monitor card associated with nVidia with also allow you to use nView to support your (now) huge desktop!

This rig works great, and as 'doc' says, I wouldn't go back to a single monitor for any reason. My desktop resolution is currently set to 3200x1200, which I think is about half and acre of desktop real-estate. ;-)

Check your cost options, because there are loads of options for you.
