If it's IDE or EIDE it's most likely 5400 rpm or 7200 rpm. Check the documentation that came with the hard drive.

there's no place in Windows that will tell you this. you can, however, find your drive model number in DEVICE MANAGER, then look up its specs.

That means IDE = 5400 RPM and EIDE = 7200 RPM ????????

Unless you have a laptop of course :) More like 4200 rpm here...
