I am simply trying to install a new printer and I keep getting this message. I have tried restarting this service using the instructions on the Microsoft web page. I don't really understand what this means. Can anyone help please?

CyberSlug, that is the Experts Exchange forum, which I doubt simpse01 has an account for.

Make sure your print spooler service is started and make sure it's start up type is set to automatic.
