Roxio's Go Back and XP

Hello Everyone, I am, or rather was, a big fan of Roxio's Go Back software. That was wneh I was using WIN ME. With XP it doesn't seem to function as well. The main problem are the restore points. For some strange reason I can not revert my drive further back than few hours. The restore history is very short. I read in the help file that these points may become erased during Scandisk. How come that wasn't the case with Win ME? Go Back is part of System Works so shouldn't it be functioning well with it's other features??? Or am I doing something wrong? I tried Roxio's support page but no solution there. I wrote to them a few days ago but still have no answer. I did update Go Back with the patch at Roxio's site which is supposed to render it fully compatible with XP. Any thoughts? Thanks a lot. I appreciate your help:)

I can't offer any help, but I did experience the same thing. Lots of restore points being made, but none more than a few hours before. The one time I tried to restore, everything froze up and I just had to turn the power off. I gave up and uninstalled it.

Thanks but the problem with XP restore is that it only works if there were changes to the registry. Otherwise it won't revert your hard drive. It's not much use with the little problems. Well, I'm here. Maybe someone has another idea???
