hi all,
I spent the last 3 days trying to set my xp machine as a router btw 2 networks. I have the following architecture:
2 networks A & B, connected via my xp machine. Network A is connected to internet via a gateway (10.42.16.1):
etho: 10.42.16.23 (net A)
eth1: 10.10.0.3 (net B)

eth1 is connected to a netgear dg834g, which servres Net B.
here is the output of 'route print':

Have you tried sharing the connection?

How have you configured the gateway in the other machines network cards?

If you have more than one gateway on your networks, you can add rounting entries with the cmd "route add -p aaa.aaa.aaa.aaa mask mmm.mmm.mmm.mmm xxx.xxx.xxx.xxx"
where, aaa and mmm stands for the address/mask of the destination network, mask and xxx is the address of the machine acting as a router on the local network.
