Hey everyone I have a linksys wireless router, 54g

Anyways to make a long story short, my router wont work now. I tried reseting it, and everything. The computers wont work when they are plugged into the router ot wirelessly. When I do a direct connection from the modem to the pc the internet works fine. So I know something is wrong with the router. This has happened a few months ago, I just cant remember what I did to get it working.

I have reseted the router, I upgraded firmware, I tried everything. Any ideas?

I have a linksys router, too. If you can't get a connection wirelessly or wired, and you reset the router, the router is probable dead and you will need to return it or get a new one. Before you do that try to update the firmware for it be going to linksys.com. Download the file with a direct connection to your modem then install it with a connection to your router. Also try chatting with linksys online.

I have the same problem. I am unable to get on the net from two of three computers, but these two can see teh router adn access the set up screen. The one that does get on the net can not access the set up screen on hte router. I noticed that the other computers are no longer receiving an address dynamically from the router and the one computer that does get online has an ip address that does not match an address that the router is set up to distrubute. ie: the router is set up to give addresses with in hte range 192.168.1.101 thru 192.168.150. However the computer has an address that I suspect was assigned from my provider (Roadrunner/Time warner). Its as if the router is not there. This problem just appeared. Anyone? ideas? anyone?
