posting this may be a long shot but here goes.. I have a linksys wireless modem router and im on aol I had it all working fine with the router set up great (i was using the router ip addy so i could set up a static ip as i could not do it with aol) anyway this also worked great for the last few months.. now lately i have had problems in the last few days getting online so after trying a few things decided to format as i needed one anyway all went as normal as i had done this a lot of times before.. i can get online with aol software installed although i used to without it being installed but i cant get my other computer and laptop to connect (it sees the linksys as normal but just wont go and for some reason i cant hit 192.168.1.1 which is my routers default setup page.. anyone any ideas

If you can't access the default IP and you are on the same subnet (BE SURE!) then I wonder if it isn't time to hit the restore button on the router. Some routers will only allow one IP to access the web based interface. I suspect that you have a ISP that is not AOL??? I read it wrong and answer it wrong too. So get off my case you goober.
