I am trying to set up roaming profiles for a few of my end users. When going fom Win2k to Win2k machines, they work perfectly. However, when they log onto an XP machine, it doesn't work. Any ideas?

the computer that all the nodes connect to is it a win2k workstation faking as a server, or is it win2000 server?
check for firewall on your xp machines, also on the xp machines are ppl getting on the network with their usernames and passwords at all and just not displaying their roaming profile desktop? or are they unable to get onto the network at all (login)

They are getting onto the network just fine. The situation is this:
I work at a bank. It's routine for Customer Service Representatives (the people at the desks) to be on different PC's on different days, depending on who is working that particular day. Instead of walking them throuhg setting up e-mail, ect, and to prevent the weekly ritual of "I saved it onto my desktop and now it's not there!", I've decided to implement roaming profiles on a few accounts. They work fine on the 2000 machines (the server is running WIn2k Server, not a workstation acting like a server [good point, tho, would've pulled hair out before realizing that as even a possibility])
But when the same person logs on to an XP machine, they log in OK, just don't get their profile loaded.
