ok here's what happened. i installed a new computer on a network and added it to a domain. the new owner had roaming profiles clicked on their profile so when i added the new computer to the domain and logged on the domain with their user name and password their profile took over my computer. so i had office 2007 installed. but the profile thinks it has 2003. so when i try to start up outlook 2007 it as for a 2003 files to intall. it's really weird. i disabled roaming profile on the other computer and it still does this. what can i do to stop this. i uninstalled anything 2003 on this computer and yet i still have this problem. it looks like i will have to create a new user and just start over or do a roll back and reinstall all these programs on my computer and i do not want to do this. what i;m looking for is an NT file that i can edit that can change all this. or maybe an explanation of what is going on as this is driving me crazy.
