for soem reason Rise of nations has caused win xp to do the blue screen crash and it automatically restarts the computer. i used to have windows 2000 and ran the game with no problem at all, but ever since i upgraded to windows xp, the game has had that blue screen crash quite often. i was wondering if anyone else has expereince similar problems and know how to fix it. thanks in advance.

Whats the Error shown when it crashes? It should be logged in WINXP's Event Log Viewer.

this is what it says:
The description for Event ID ( 1000 ) in Source ( Rise of Nations ) cannot be found. The local computer may not have the necessary registry information or message DLL files to display messages from a remote computer. You may be able to use the /AUXSOURCE= flag to retrieve this description; see Help and Support for details. The following information is part of the event: nations.exe, 1.13.4.1801, nations.exe, 1.13.4.1801, 00046d12.
but after some research, i found that this is a problem experienced by many other people too.
