Hi all. I have looked on here and have not found what I needed so let me ask here. I want to rip Audio tracks from a eagles DVD I have . I want them to be in WMA format?? And am looking for a free program to rip the audio. I dunno maybe I am just being dense. But I thought I had read some where that you can use media player to do that but I have media player 11 and it will only rips CDS.. at least as far as I can see. I also thought for some odd reason that Nero 7 was able to do this. But I have looked on it and cannot find it. Can anyone help?? Thanks. I simply want a free ripping program to take all the songs off the DVD.

ok i went to that link. most are shareware. which dont let you do complete rips. but doesnt Media player or Nero do ripping ?? but on that link i still dont find anything that really helps. thanks for trying though.

yes i know i did google for a ton of stuff. most of it inorder to use it you have to buy the shareware stuff only lets you extract a few minutes. i really did do a lot of searching.. i didnt just post in here . when i clicked on yoru link and went to the google search i had already visited most of those links already. i di dmanage to find someitng that let me extract the dvd stuff to VOB. but then was unable to find a decent VOB converter. so its ok thanks again. sorry to bother all of you.

It can rip audio directly from a dvd vob file
and create a wma or mp3 (you have to desable video from the video tab or it will rip the video too)And is totally free.

You can try aimersoft dvd audio ripper, it can easily rip DVD audio to MP3, WAV, AAC, AC3, WMA and M4A formats with high quality, that's really great for me, you can check it out here for free:
