Comment:

I am running Ad-aware, Spybot S&D and NOD32 as protection.

For some reason, my computer does not want to accept right clicks beginning when I browse through My Computer to C:, then Program Files, then mIRC, then downloads (I am attempting to delete an incomplete file). However, I find that right-clicking has no response.

From this point, when I left click the Start menu, there is no highlight when I navigate through to select items, though I still can open them (without the highlight to confirm what I am clicking on).

Also, there is no right-click response. The only way to return limited functionality is to end svchost and explorer tasks, and/or reboot in selective startup mode via msconfig with no startup items enabled.

Would appreciate someone going through the HijackThis log for me; this is beyond frustration.

I'm not a log reader, but it sounds to me like you've just got problems with the explorer.exe shell. So check out your Event Viewer log files for more info, or else try reinstalling Internet Explorer (it's intertwined with Windows Explorer) and see if that fixes it. You might also check to make sure you have the latest video driver as well...

msgfix.exe which is one of your running processes is a backdoor. Check out http://www.sophos.com/virusinfo/analyses/w32sdbotmz.html
