now i know this is going to sound silly, but i have no idea! I had some work done on my puter last week and i notice when im at the back of my tower i can feel a fairly stiff rush of air coming from a vent! obviouslly from a fan,so i took the side off and had a peek and is it possible that the teck put the fan in the wrong way as i thought the fan should be blowing the air into the tower and not out the vent or could it be that way to expell the heat out of the tower...Thanks lasttime

Hi The fan is installed correctly, it is exhausting hot air from your computer. Most likely it is from your power supply. Tom C.

Yeah it's right.. The intake for the fan is in one to 2 possible locations. One is in the front lower part of the case. 2nd one is.. IF there is no fan in the powersupply, it will bring in air through there. Junk Internet Explorer, Get Firefox! You'll be happy you did.

In an ideal tower, it's best to have 2 fans. One as a blower, and the other as an extraction. A fan at the front of the case would blow the hot air towards the back. The back fan would then suck it outside of the case. This would be the best way to cool such a system.
