I have a emachine t1090, and ever since i got it, when ever i right click on the desktop, it takes a long time to bring up the right click menu, it takes exactly 4 seconds!!! on most computers, even old computers with 133mhz it still doesn't take that long, it only takes 1 second. My emachine is really fast in everything else. Any Ideas?

Try downloading system mechanic (http://download.com.com/3000-2094-10174256.html?tag=lst-0-1). You can use it for like the 30days free trial. Once installed open it up and click on the system's button and click on customize windows settings. The first page that comes up has an adjuster of how long to wait before the start button comes up. That could help modifying your right clicking to show up faster.
