When i right click and file on my computer no matter if it's a huge file or a shortcut, it's takes a long time for the little menu 2 come up.. (about 4secs)
It also does this when i cut copy or paste a file....
the loading icon would go after about 4secs...

Rid yourself from all the adware and clean up the cookie cache and files then run a regestry cleaner to remove all the old remnents of past programs and it should speed your system up for you. get 'regscrup xp' (free) here http://www.majorgeeks.com/download.php?det=2048
