I came on here a while back asking about how to get rid of spyware. It's getting pretty bad. You can't even surf the damn internet without picking up a bunch of it. So this person on here recommends this software that's free and basically locates and deletes spyware. But it seems that since I got the program my comp just hasn't been the same. It's now practically a magnet for spyware, run slow, freezes up, and won't shut down properly. I need help, but most of all I want a way get rid of this BS spyware forever. I don't want to have to mess with this anymore. HELP!!!!!!!

Yes, get Ad-aware that Eric pointed out too. Also get Spybot Search & Destroy and Spyware Blaster from www.javacoolsoftware.com. For spybot, just google it.
Also, STOP using Internet Explorer to surf the web. Go to www.mozilla.org and download any of their browsers, they're faster and very secure unlike IE!! I would personally recommend Firefox.
