Long story short, I accidentally ran recovery console and completely restored my system to its original factory settings. Is there any way that I can reverse this? I tried looking at the system restore points, but of course there weren't any available. Thanks for any help.

Sorry Quickdraw, there is no reversal possible. You 'might' be able to get some of your files off the drive with a file recovery program, but that's about all.
If you want to try and recovery files, the best thing to do is remove the hard drive right now and connect it as a slave to another system. Then try the recovery program.
If you continue to use the system you will decrease the chances of recovering any data.

you may get lucky by using the recovery console and selecting an RP, there should be many listed there.
That might work for you. Some HELP in posting on Cnet plus free progs and instructions Glad to Help!

He just told us there are no restore points.
This, I believe, is due to quickdraw574's usage of a FACTORY RESTORE not recovery console.
Any hope of data recovery is pretty slim since those clusters were overwritten by the factory restore.
Imagine the power of knowing how to internet search

although the entire process may not be reversible, some files/documents can be restored.
to avoid any further damage through overwriting even more files, do not use the computer. create a BartPE Windows Live CD (supports USB 2.0) with some forensic software (e.g. WinHex, Davory or the free Recuva). boot from the CD and recover the deleted files using an external USB storage device as target drive.

There are 2 kinds of restore points. One is the system restore that can be used under normal use and the other is a Repair point that is only accessible through the recovery mode.
Hope that clears that up.Some HELP in posting on Cnet plus free progs and instructions Glad to Help!
