Hi,
Me being an absolute novice on a computer i only today realised that my hard disk drive will indeed hold 40G. but my C: drive shows only a capacity of 2 GIG.
How do i reclaim this lost space?

Thanks if any one can help and merry xmas!

if u want to spend some money get partition magic8.

othewise go to www.bootdisk.com and download win98 se bootdisk on floppy.
back up all your data and note settings on a paper.
boot with 98 floppy and at a:> type fdisk and delete your present partition and fdisk the whole disk and reformat and again re-partion it.

Are you quite certain that the 2Gb is Unused and not Used - where are you looking to see these figures?

Do you just have the one C Drive ?

What make is the Computer?
