After I restored my computer, I saw that it had two choices of XP's to use, one with the virus and the new one. How do i delete the old one with the virus

My guess is that you tried to delete the wrong windows folder.

Whenever you get an error message you should include it in your post.

I am truly sorry for duplicating my posting. I waited a day and saw that no one was replying because it was old and was already helped, but i encountered a different problem. There really is no excuse and i really do apologise for my actions.

The error said
Cannot delete Flash9f.ocx:Access is Denied
Make sure the disk is not full or write protected and is currently not in use.

Any Help Would be greatly apricciated. Also Ewen i want to thank you for the link it was working great until this problem. Thank You to everyone

If the two XP installs are on separate Partitions,as you stated in previous thread, simply format the Partition with the Version Containing the Virus.

Just be ABSOLUTELY sure you format the Correct Partition.

There is nothing to learn from someone who already agrees with you.
