Restoring deleted icons

Hi,
I have deleted the desktop,explorer,remote desktop icons from the taskbar.However using the desktop recover utility i have restored desktop icon,but was unable to drag explorer and remote desktop icons on to the taskbar.

Naresh_M, SWAG, dunno for sure. My guess is that the desktop hasn't yet become permanent desktop memory in your machine. Using 'file' (upper LEFT not the handier 'X'), close operations, shutdown, restart and try again to drag them. HTH. Ed in Texas.

Make sure taskbar is not locked and you have moved the right end spacer along a bit to allow for them.
