I run a backup every Wednesday of a specific folder and now I would like to access a backup from 2 weeks ago. I opened the Restore utility, and went to the backup folder for 2/1. When I navigate thru this and its subfolders I noticed there are no files just folders. The only backup in my archives that contains actual files is the latest backup (2/15). I have restored files from older backups before and had no problems. I haven't changed any backup settings either. Is there any way I can still retrieve these files from older backups?

I suggest you use data recovery software such as EASEUS DataRecoveryWizard to recover files.

Download demo version: http://www.easeus.com/download.htm
