Restore file association in Windows

Specs: Windows XP
Ive seen solutions to this problem for vista, exe files, bat files etc. I accidetally choosed to use notepad as default program to open .php files. I want to remove any associations to this file typ but havent been able to find any solution for this. Could someone please guide me through this?

I just noticed that you want to unassociate a file in
Windows XP, and not Windows Vista.

Sorry about that...

I see you solved your problem, but just to let others know,
if i recall right, if you delete a file type from the list in
Folder Options/File Types, it will be automaticly reassociated
to Unknown Application.
