i have been having a problem with the computers at my station and the administrators keep ignoring it so i turn to this forum to find some answers. when ever i save something on to disk when not logged in as administrator or even some times when logged in as admin, it gets lost when i restart the machine. i have tried google several times to find some answers but all in vain. is there any settings i have to change to have the files i save stay n disk even after restart? thank you. i humbly request for an answer from any one who knows about this.

what you save is under your profile.
if you logon as user1 and save a file to my documents and then logon as administrator you will not see the file.

Two solutions;
Only use one account
Make a place on the hard drive as administrator and assign all local users you logon under full access to this folder. Only store your files in this folder. All accounts you logon to will see the files here.
